Container Destuffing, Devanning & Transloading at the Port of Vancouver Gateway
Fast transfer between transport modes to reduce storage time and handling costs, at our 130,000+ sq ft facility in Delta, BC, close to the Port of Vancouver.
From container to shelf, truck or trailer, without the wait
When an ocean container lands in Vancouver, every day it waits adds cost. Our partner carriers collect it from the port and bring it to our Delta facility and destuff it, then send the cargo where it needs to go next: into storage, through fulfillment, onto a trailer for onward freight, or straight out by cross-dock.
Because drayage, devanning, warehousing and delivery happen under one roof and one point of contact, there's no hand-off between vendors and less time between vessel and customer.

FAQs
What is container destuffing?
Destuffing, also called devanning, is unloading the cargo from a shipping container so it can be stored, sorted or moved onward.
What's the difference between transloading and cross-docking?
Transloading moves cargo from one mode of transport to another, such as from an ocean container to a domestic trailer. Cross-docking moves freight from inbound to outbound with little or no storage in between.
Can you pick up the container from the port too?
Yes. Port of Vancouver drayage through our network of partner carriers, coordinated with devanning, storage and onward delivery. Our partner carriers also return the empty container.
Can you store the cargo after destuffing?
Yes. Cargo can go straight into our 130,000+ sq ft warehouse for short- or long-term storage.
I'm an overseas forwarder. Who do you invoice?
